03 — Embedding · Overview
Five ways to ship a form.
FormPing gives you five embedding modes. Use whichever fits your site — they all hit the same backend and produce the same submissions.
The five modes
A
Script Tag
Drop a one-liner. The widget renders a form built in the dashboard. Easiest path.
BiFrame
Embed the hosted form page inside an iframe. Total style isolation.
CTakeover
Already have an HTML form? Point FormPing at it and it takes over the submission.
DProgrammatic
Call FormPing.init() from your SPA whenever you need it.
Direct Link
Skip embedding entirely. Send people to your hosted form page.

Not sure where to start? Script Tag works on 90% of sites and takes one line. Try that first.
Common to all modes
- Submissions are encrypted server-side and stored against the same token, regardless of how they were sent.
- The token's domain allowlist applies to every mode. Add your production domain before going live.
- Bot protection runs server-side on every submission — same rules regardless of embedding mode.
- Notifications fire identically — you won't see any difference in your inbox or apps.
