Eight tools, one resource.
These are the building blocks your AI uses to manage your FormPing account. You don't call them directly — you ask in plain English and your AI picks the right one.
Tools
list_tokens
List every token in your account, with labels and domain allowlists.
Show me all my FormPing forms.
create_token
Create a new token with a label and optional domain allowlist. The response includes a ready-to-paste script tag.
Create a token called "Newsletter signup", allowed on
example.com and www.example.com, and give me the embed code.
delete_token
Permanently delete a token and all its messages.
Delete the token called "old test form".
Token deletion is irreversible. Your AI should confirm with you before calling this — but always read its plan carefully if you're using auto-approve.
toggle_token
Pause or resume a token. Paused tokens reject new submissions but keep all existing data.
Pause my "Holiday promo" form — the campaign is over.
get_embed_code
Get all four embed formats (script tag, iframe, WordPress shortcode, direct URL) for an existing token.
Give me the iframe embed code for the contact form.
get_form_config
Fetch the full form-builder config for a token, so the AI can show you what's there or use it as a starting point for edits.
What fields does my contact form have right now?
save_form_config
The big one. Save a complete form-builder config — fields, pages, conditional rules, scoring, results pages, and theme. Your AI can build entire multi-page forms in a single call.
Build a 2-page lead-qualification form for a SaaS:
- Page 1: name, email, company size (small / medium / large)
- Page 2: budget (under 1k / 1k-10k / 10k+), timeline (now / Q3 / next year)
Add scoring: large + 10k+ = high-intent. Show different
results pages for high vs low intent.
delete_form_config
Reset a token's form to the default. Doesn't delete the token itself.
Reset the "Newsletter signup" form to the default.
Resource
account_info
Read-only resource exposing your current plan, language, and account-level metadata. Your AI uses it to answer questions like:
What plan am I on?
How forms get embedded
The MCP tools always return one of two integration paths — they never tell your AI
to fetch or POST to api.formping.ch directly.
Script tag — for forms built in the FormPing Form Builder. Drop it on your site and the widget renders the form for you.
iFrame — same path, but isolated from your site's CSS. Use when style conflicts are a problem.
